The Lac Tio deposit near Lac Allard, Quebec ... is the only titanium-iron deposit ... mined in Canada at present. [It] is a flat-lying irregular tabular intrusive mass, 1100 m long and 1000 m wide, which is estimated to contain more than 125 million tonnes of ore averaging 32% TiO2 as ilmenite and 36% FeO.

[Il] consiste en une masse intrusive tabulaire de forme irrégulière reposant à l'horizontale, de 1 100 m de longueur sur 1 000 m de largeur qui, selon les estimations, renfermerait plus de 125 Mt de minerai présentant une teneur moyenne en TiO2, sous forme d'ilménite, de 32 % et une teneur en FeO de 36 %.
